Description
UV inhibitor is used to help prevent the premature fading of coloured candles exposed to ultraviolet or "UV" light.

This additive can also protect white candles from yellowing after prolonged exposure to light.

Typical usage is 1/4 to 1/2 percent per pound/450g of wax.

1/4 percent = 1 gram or 1/2 teaspoon
1/2 percent = 2 grams or 1 teaspoon

Add to wax at 85°C and stir to dissolve.

For use in candles only.

Not approved for use in bath and body products.

I used it on three wax candles to stop frosting on the first one , frosting still happening but in second abs last one worked perfectly, but maybe it was that I poured melted wax on the hot container rather than a room temperature.

The UV stabiliser is primarily to reduce the fading of colour in candles that can be caused by sunlight and is not something we would normally advise to stop frosting. Heating the container is one step that can help to reduce frosting in candles, however if you would like further advice on reducing the impact of frosting please feel free to contact us via email.
