The UK is not somewhere you traditionally expect to find people growing tea, however with the right conditions and a good deal of effort it is in fact possible to grow tea in the UK!

Plymouth Tea have a small tea plantation at the Walled Gardens at Maristow, situated about half a mile along the rivers edge from Lopwell Dam on the outskirts of Plymouth where they have successfully managed to grow around an acre of tea.
