Our Armada blend was inspired by the English spirit when going into battle against the French and Spanish Armada. This classic naval battle proudly displayed our strength to the world from the coast of Plymouth. This tribute is a medium strength blend with an instantly recognisable flavour to reflect the robust fortitude and unflappable character of the English navy.
The Taste: Ideal for the classic tea drinker, Armada is blended with the thought of ‘afternoon tea’ in mind. This blend stands out as one of our most popular, blended with a high Assam content, for strength and colour.
Serving Suggestion: Enjoyable with or without milk, this tea should be accompanied with sandwiches and small cakes, sweet biscuits can be used if necessary. If you are planning your own English tea party then Armada blend is the tea you simply cannot do without.
Directions: Place one tea bag per person into a teapot, or one teabag into a tea cup. Fill the pot with boiling water and allow it to brew for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
